Objectives
The engineering construction industry is facing a severe skills shortage and urgently needs to attract young people. Cognition was tasked with helping the ECITB to raise the profile of engineering construction careers among school and college leavers as well as communicating the organisation’s key messages to industry.
Approach
We began by leading a brand strategy workshop at which we revisited the ECITB’s
messaging with the marketing team and developed a strategic plan for implementing activity across the different sectors the organisation supports.
We then developed a visually arresting brand style which would appeal to both existing industry workers and young students looking at engineering construction as a career path.
