Pearl Motor Yachts is the UK’s fastest growing luxury motoryacht builder and one of Cognition's most long-standing clients. With dealerships across Europe, the company offers four models with a flagship 75-foot model in production.


Objectives

Cognition PR was commissioned to raise Pearl's profile in the marine industry, a highly competitive market dominated by some very large brands. We were tasked with ensuring share of voice in the pan-European marine, national, luxury and business media to attract funding, further establish the dealership network and ultimately increase market share. Cognition PR also supports Pearl's hectic schedule of European boat shows and strategic partnership events.

 Results

  • Cognition has secured regular profiles in a variety of national business press including the Financial Times, Sunday Times, Times, Telegraph, Guardian, Arena magazine and BA Business Life through an aggressive ongoing media relations campaign 

  • The increased profile has attracted dealerships in the UK, Ireland, France, Portugal, Spain, Greece and Cyprus

  • Increased brand awareness has also led to successful partnerships with high profile brands such as Bentley UK

  • Publicity generated around boat shows has been sustained through ongoing activity to win share of voice from bigger brands.
