rule

The Smallpeice Trust  is an independent, educational charity which promotes engineering to young people of all abilities and backgrounds.

Objective

The charity’s 40-year-old brand was in urgent need of modernisation to appeal to today’s students and teachers and to dispel the negative connotations of engineering as a masculine-orientated and ‘dirty’ job. Smallpeice set the specific objectives of increasing both traffic to their website and enrolment in their courses.

Achievements

  • A 60% rise in hits to the website – which continues to grow

  • A Google ranking of 6 for the website, positioning its popularity alongside Blockbusters, Sainsburys and HMV

  • An increase in applications of 477%

  • All courses filled or over-subscribed with further demand for a wider range of course topics
