Working with a venture capital company in Hong Kong, this year sees us brand and launch the fourth UK Government Joint-Venture company using technology developed at DSTL

A First for Marketing Psychology
We become the first UK marketing agency to formalise our work with System 1 and System 2 thinking in our analysis of buyer behaviour

Global BI
We are engaged by Qlik, a Swedish Business Intelligence company. We launch them in the UK, work with Gartner, help set up their Partner Channel and work with their migration to the US. They are now one of the world’s biggest BI companies
2006
Taking the Lead with Marketing Automation
HubSpot launches one of the first marketing automation platforms and we are to become an early adopter
2007
A Mobile First
There are more than 200 million subscribers to 3G networks and the 36th website we build is the first to be launched on the new iPhone

Another European Client
Our 10th Anniversary sees us add to our portfolio of European clients when we work with Finmeccanica (now Leonardo), an Italian global technology company, on cyber security

Inclusion and Diversity in EMEA
We create a brand and strategy for Cisco’s Inclusion and Diversity programme in EMEA

Consolidating Success

At the BBC
Co-founder Dr. Peter Hughes, who has appeared on numerous programmes talking about psychology, branding and marketing, appears on the BBC series Superbrands and is interviewed by Brian Cox for the BBC series Addicted to Pleasure

The Most Expensive Kitchen in the World
We launch the first £1m kitchen, which is unveiled by celebrity chef Aldo Zilli at a star-studded event in Mayfair

Expansion to new Birmingham offices and Corporate and Global Success
On our 20th Anniversary, we relocated our midlands office to bigger premises in central Birmingham. Jaguar Land Rover choose Cognition as a major marketing partner and we run a record number of international marketing and training programmes in countries as diverse as Russia, Chile and South Korea
