Challenge

Cognition was selected by Glaziers Hall to reinvigorate their marketing efforts. From a digital point of view, our challenge was clear: the existing website was not showcasing the potential of the venue and attracting very little organic traffic. We began by developing a new design using beautiful photography showcasing the multi faceted nature of this unique venue.

Outcome

  • In just under 12 months the PR campaign reached more than 1.4 million people in the conference and event industry
  • 69% of all coverage featured ‘showcase’ photography of the venue
  • Secured a mention as one of only 3 UK venues to be included in Event Magazine, as part of its Top Riverside Venues feature
  • Glaziers Hall is now listed on page one of Google for nine keywords
  • Web traffic increased by 30%
  • Web enquiries increased by 93%
  • Glaziers Hall has transformed from a loss-making livery hall to a venue of prestige; increasing revenue, occupancy and the number of events by 10% year-on-year
  • Voted top five in Event Magazine’s Top 20 Venues poll (ahead of 400+ nominees)
  • Business grew by 23.79% in one year
