Challenge

With the launch of three innovative new packaging designs on the horizon, Cognition was tasked with taking the trio of pioneering products to new and existing markets in addition to ensuring future growth. This work included:

  • Immediate and in-depth research into the market and its customers, both existing and potential, in order to inform our marketing strategy
  • Working closely with RAP’s in-house design team to update the brand and suite of marketing collateral that included a website and stand design
  • A new-look website to provide visitors with a comprehensive insight into RAP’s extensive portfolio of products

Outcome

  • Following a successful year, RAP was shortlisted for the 'Innovation of the Year' Award as part of the UK Packaging Awards
  • Launched an extensive product portfolio website that positioned them as the leaders in their market space
  • Fully optimised website for both mobile and SEO, resulting in high volumes of relevant and qualified traffic
  • Successful PR launch of RAP’s new-look product innovations, including the world’s first hermetically sealed, modified atmosphere carton food tray
  • The products were officially unveiled at leading trade show, Pro2Pac, at London ExCel
  • Six face-to-face media briefings with leading publications, including Food & Drink International, Food & Drink News, Packaging News and Packaging Gazette, were secured
